Oral history interview conducted as part of a project exploring the legacy of pioneering tattoo artist Jessie Knight and her influence on the tattoo community in Wales today.In this interview, Naomi talks about how she founded NAOHOA on her own after leaving her previous career as a concept artist, and the importance to her of creating a relaxed and welcoming environment for her clients. We also discuss the influence of East Asian and South East Asian cultures on the tattoo industry and the lines between cultural appreciation and cultural appropriation in tattooing..
