Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
gold medal awarded to Welsh poet Dyfed (Rev. E D Rees) at New York Eisteddfod, 1884; on one side of medal is engraving of Prince of Wales Feathers and motto 'Ich Dien'; on the other side is follwing inscription: 'Goreu Arf, Arf Dysg / New York City / Eisteddfod / Rev. E. D. Rees / (Dyfed) / Cardiff Wales / 1884'. The medal has an attachment to the top to thread ribbon to hang (ribbon no long exists), this has been adapted by the addition of a ?silver chain.
