Hoof box
A real horses hoof which has an iron shoe still attached. The inside has been hollowed out and a silvered brass container has been placed inside. Half of the outer surface has been clad with the same metal. The lid of the box is hinged and has incised decoration of a geometric design on the top.[RJ; 24/11/2008]
