Dish, oval, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain with a green translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into rounded sides, and flared lip; lobed edge with four large and four small lobes, and cruciform moulding; painted in enamels in the centre with a large spray of garden flowers, in pink, purple, orange, and blue enamels, surrounded by a deep gilt border of scrolling flowers and foliage, with small polychrome birds perched on gilt stems; plain gilt band to lip.
