M.V. RIVER AFTON discharging iron ore into hopper railway wagons at South Dock, Newport. The 0-6-0T locomotive in the foreground was built by Kerr Stuart in 1917 for R.O.D. inland waterways. She became AND&R no.34 before being renumbered no.666 by the GWR.
