Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a tall foot rim, compressed globular body with moulded, wide ribs, domed lid with bud-shaped finial, C-scroll handle and straight spout, gilt and iron-red border above rim, lotus pattern docorating body, border underneath lid, ribbon docoration on spout and handle,lotus pattern on lid, upper half of finial gilded, border around rim.
