50 pence colourised commemorative coin issued to mark the 50th anniversary of first Pride event to be held in the UK in London on 1 July 1972. This is the first time Britain’s LGBTQ+ community has been celebrated on official UK coinage. The coin is held within a card case containing information about Pride. The circulating version of this coin is the last to be issued with the portrait of Elizabeth II on the obverse.
