Mask extender
Hand-crochéed ear protector/mask extender. Given by volunteers to Tŷ Doctor surgery, Nefyn, during the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Oblong shaped with one button at each end for looping to face mask straps.
Made from purple yarn with plastic buttons (2 buttonholes, Ø=2.5cm). The buttons are made of salmon pink material and have a dark green coating. In three areas, the coating is scraped away to reveal the pink inner colour (as part of the button's design). The ends of the extender are rounded.
