Shirt
Natural, with red, purple and turquoise stripes, a woven shirt made by Melin Teifi. The flannel was developed to be softer against the skin and machine washable. The four buttons on the front of the shirt were improved, and the cut of the shirt altered for a better shape. The fine stripes are colour matched to a collection of veg dye samples from a lady in Aberystwyth. Part of the Wales Collection 1984.
One of the shirts was presented to Prince Charles, c.1986 and a knitted sweater was given to Princess Diana designed by Alan Hunt. (drawing in book)
