(Decorator)
Plate, lobed edge; foot ring. Ornate gilt border of neo-classical urns, scrolls, husks, swags and anthemia, between two thick gilt bands. Centre finely painted in polychrome enamel with a bouquet of flowers, including lilac, convolvulus, a tulip, white and pink roses and nasturtium, lying on a shelf, next to a (?) stone vase.
This plate was made at Nantgarw but decorated in London, perhaps by Moses Webster.
