Plate, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a rounded tapering foot-rim, cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim, the rijm scalloped; decorated in gilt and underglaze blue with the 'Royal lily' pattern, to the centre of the well a stylized blue flower head issuing scrolling gilt lines enclosed within a circular border of alternating panels of stylized gilt flower heads and foliage and interlocking hatched triangles in gilt, all on a dark blue ground, radiating out from this up the sides of the well to the rim a repeating pattern of highly stylized lilies, border to the rim as to the centre of the well, a brown edge to the outer rim.
