Cup, coffee and saucer
Coffee cup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain, the cup with a creamy white translucency, the saucer with a white translucency; cup standing on a straight sided foot rim, waisted above, curved sides flaring at lip; high c-scroll handle closed above the lip; saucer set on a flat unglazed base, rounded spreading sides; interior of cup and saucer painted with sprays of three full bloom pink roses and insects, exterior of cup with sprays of two full bloom pink roses; gilt band to the foot rim, gilt dentilled lip, and gilt edge to the handle.
