Logbook used by engineering staff at Gilfach Ddu workshops, Dinorwig Quarry 1928-1979. Also included are notes, in the hand of Mr H.R. Jones, former museum engineer, regarding the Museum's Hunslet loco., 0-4-0 UNA.

A large note-book type volume, bound in dark green covers with a red spine. Records dates and details of maintainance, repairs, alterations and modifications to aerial ropeway installations throughout Dinorwig Quarry. Includes details of types of motors and switchgear used, lengths of wire rope, re-location of winding units etc.
