Wooden cradle doll, Bohemia, 1909
Part of the Edward Lovett collection of dolls
Wooden doll. Solid head with painted features, blue eyes, red lips, nostrils and blush cheeks and black hair. Body is solid and flat on back with rounded front tapering from shoulders to feet. "Outift" is pink painted panel with red band top and bottom and blue/yellow leaf and stem decoration with red/yellow flowers. Reverse reads "ANTWERP 10-'09"
