Tray, tin-plate, rectangular form with rounded corners and out-curving sides, oval hand-holes cut into narrower sides; covered all over with a black japan, the well painted in gilt and colours with a scenes showing three male figures riding in a gig pulled by one horse, the rim painted in gilt and colours with stylized flowers and fret patterns.
