Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain; cup standing on a foot rim, rounded sides; saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading sides; both painted in brown enamel; the cup painted with a landscape, two figures in foreground to left, bridge in centre, building to right, framing trees to sides, vignette opposite, gilt border to foot rim, ornamental gilt border to lip; saucer painted with a landscape, large tree in centre, rowing boat to right, two figures to left of tree, surrounded by six gilt sprigs, ornamental gilt border to lip.
