Dowlais-Cardiff (East Moors) steelworks, negative
Interior view showing plate sample testing machine by Tannett Walker of Leeds, c.1896. Steel works performed physical tests on samples of their products to monitor quality. A sample of plate can be seen being deformed between the right hand ram and anvil.
