Roman copper alloy T shaped brooch
It lacks the long cross bar; the pivot is held in a cylindrical casing behind the head. There are three lengthwise mouldings down the centre of the upper part of the bow and a two fold appendage survives to one side of the broad, flat head. A similar, large brooch from the Extra Mural area of Caerleon.
