Plate, bone china, square with rounded corners and a cruciform impressed border, plain rounded rim, flaring sides and a well-defined, relatively high, round foot rim with flattened edge; there is a plain band of gilding at the rim, and a very finely painted asymmetric arrangement of flowers over the surface, this comprises a group of mixed flowers to one side of the well, plus six detached single flowers scattered over the well and flange, all are painted overglaze.
