Lifeboat crews during salvage attempt on sunken cargo vessel EL TAMBO, wrecked off Fishguard.
EL TAMBO (Panamanian). Cargo Vessel 2500 tons. Towed in to Fishguard harbour after catching fire on her way from Northern Ireland to Tripoli with a cargo of livestock. Sank at her mooring on 27 March 1977. Cut up in 1980.
