Mug
Mug, deep cream-coloured earthenware with a slightly greenish tinge to the glaze, inset base within a slightly flaring foot-rim, cylindrical sides, ridged loop handle, around the handle a metal ring embossed with the initials "GR"; around the front of the body is painted the inscription "Kings head" in underglaze blue. The body of the mug cracked and repaired, chipping to the foot-rim and lip-rim.
