T shirt
Unite Union T shirt 'Save Remploy', worn during the campaign against closure of the Remploy furniture factory in Baglan, Port Talbot in 2013. Remploy was once the UK's largest employer of people with disabilities with seven factories in Wales; the first opened in Bridgend in 1946. The decision to close Remploy factories was made under the Conservative Government Minister for Disabled People, Maria Miller. The Port Talbot factory announced closure in August 2013 when they were unable to find a viable buyer and 54 disabled employees were made redundant.
