Turret clock mechanism

This clock has a strong iron frame on six turned pillars; cog wheels of brass, seven of steel; 3 winding barrels with fluted iron surfaces. The pendulum is of wood with metal fittings and made by W. David, Morriston. The clock also bears the name of Xavier Ganz, clockmaker from Swansea. The clock struck the hours and chimed the half-hours on all days except Sundays (9am-10pm).
