Pipe, tobacco
Pardoe, W. H.
(Pottery)
Stem from a clay pipe, white earthenware, press moulded in two parts with a visible, horizontal seam running along the length of the handle, the stem tapers from an uneven oval section at the bowl end to a simple, rounded mouthpiece; the pipe stem is pierced along its length, this appears to have been done after the two halves were joined, as it is off-centre at the broken end but central at the mouthpiece.
