(8482gt) : Tanker built 1937 by Cammell Laird & Co. Ltd., Birkenhead, powered by a Doxford 4-cylinder opposed piston diesel engine, for the British Tanker Co. Ltd., London. 1943 - While en route (in ballast) from Barry, South Wales to Curacao as part of a convoy, she was torpedoed and damaged by U-202 on 23rd February. She arrived at Guantanamo on 8th March, and was repaired at Galveston and back in service by May. 1957 - Transferred to BP Tanker Co., and renamed ANGLIAN FORTITUDE. She was broken up at Burcht, Belgium, in August 1958.
