Coffee pot, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a rounded spreading slightly waisted foot-rim, pear-shaped body with cylindrical neck and rounded lip-rim, beak spout with moulded scrolls to the underside, double-curved scrolled loop handle with foliate-moulding forming a raised thumb-spur at the shoulder, round domed cover with a pine cone finial to the centre, the cover is attached to the coffee pot by a length of metal chain which is fastened around the finial and around the handle; finely painted in puce and gilt with around the exterior body of the coffee pot and the top of the cover sprays and sprigs of Chinese-style flowers, a border to the exterior lip-rim of the coffee pot and the rim of the cover of scrolls and flower heads in puce and gilt, the spout picked out in puce and gilt, the handle and finial picked out in puce.
