Roman bone buckle fragment
Over half of a Roman bone buckle. It consists of a simple oval cycle that continues in an inner parchment. The shape derives from a copy of a type of bronze commonly known by a number of early Roman sites. This type of object normally has a bronze brooch, which has been lost. Mid-1st century A.D.
