Find Information
Site Name: CwmyFforch, Treherbert
Collection Method: surface find
Date: 1964
Notes: Found underneath a thin layer of peat ploughed up by the Forestry Commission in an area about 200 yards wide below the summit of the ridge west of the top of CwmyFforch. It is noted on the accession card that "the beads, most of the microliths and some of the Neolithic flints were found close together, with fragments of charcoal and burnt hazel nut, at 9475 - 9945". It cannot be determined whether this Neolithic flint is one of those being referred to, therefore the coordinates may not be accurate.
