Built 1957 by Harland & Wolff Ltd., Belfast, for King Line (Philipps, Philipps & Co.). 1959 – Transferred to Clan Line Steamers Ltd. 1970 – Transferrred to Houston Line Ltd. 1972 – Sold to Alassia Steamship Co., Limassol, and renamed ELENI 2. 1980 – Sold to the nationalist Republic of China, and renamed TAICHUNG 2.
