unknown (Manufacturer)

Cast medal with a hanging loop: all 9 carat gold and hallmarked accordingly. On the front, some background areas and the crown of the Fleur-de-lys have been gilded with a higher carat gold - probably 18 carat.

Medal enamelled in red, royal blue, light blue and white. Top: 3 red crowns above, below: Prince of Wales Plumes, then: 'Welsh Football Union' (light blue scroll), below this are 2 heraldic shields (quartered Royal standard and lion rampant), fleurs-de-lys, then '1907 1908' on blue scroll, on bottom: 1 blue heraldic shield (harp of EIRE).

Reverse engraved with player's name: 'T.H. Vile' and stamped with the hallmark and the maker's marks. This side of medal is lacquered.
