Roman stone quern
Two fragments (joining) from upper stone. There are traces of one side of a rynd-socket, quite abraded, on the flangeless hopper. The slightly concave grinding surface is highly worn, and there is virtually no differentiation in the degree of wear between the innermost surface and the skirt.
