Letter from R. Pomeroy, dockmaster for Bute docks
Company headed white paper handwritten in black ink. Framed in glass with black tape around edges and velcro stuck on reverse. Letter, dated November 26th 1887, from Ralph Pomeroy, Dockmaster for the Bute Docks Company, to S. James, the Marquis of Bute's agent, enclosing a piece of the ribbon broken at the opening of the Roath Dock, Cardiff. (Ribbon broken by the 'Ninian Stuart' in the presence of the Marchioness of Bute).
