The stock sheet gives details of the number of ‘Abergynolwyn blue’ slates available from the Abergynolwyn Slate a Slab Co. Ltd., on the 1st September 1914, in different sizes (ranging from 24’’ x 12’’ to 10’’ x 8’’), and different quality (‘best’, ‘best mediums’, ‘mediums’, and ‘seconds’). The price list is printed on cream paper. The donor’s family were timber merchants in Taunton, Somerset. They supplied timber and slate to local builders and merchants, and as a result acquired a collection of stock sheets and slate price lists from various slate quarries.
