Jug, pearlware, incised ring in centre of base, rounded foot-rim, globular body, slightly ridged at the shoulder, plain upright spout, plain loop handle; painted in puce, orange, brown and green with a chinoiserie-style scene of figures, trees, buildings and a bridge, a wreath of red-orange flowers and foliage to the neck, an anthemion to the lower spout, a running pattern of foliage to the handle, black bands to the foot-rim, shoulder, lip-rim and edges of the handle.
