Teacup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain; cup standing on a tapered foot rim indented above, with rounded sides and flared lip; high c-scroll handle closed on the lip; saucer standing on a flat unglazed base, rounded spreading sides; exterior of cup and interior of saucer painted all over with polychrome flowers on a gilt dotted ground, including pink and wild roses, yellow, blue, and purple crocuses, lilac, pansies, convolvulus, tulip, bluebells, and forget-me-nots; inside cup, a flower spray in the centre and border of flowers below a gilt band and gilt wavy border of leaves and berries; gilt handle, gilt lip and foot rim.
