Vase and cover
Vase of inverted pear shape with cylindrical neck and flared foot. Royal blue ground with caillouté gilding. Circular reserve on one side, painted in polychrome enamels with a butterfly and garden flowers, including a rose and an iris. Circular domed cover with flat rim and acorn-shaped finial. Band of gilt husks above foot and around neck; gilt banding to foot, around bottom of body, above and below neck, around cover, rim and finial. Acorn nut finial also gilt.
