Cup, tea and saucer
Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Teacup and saucer, soft-paste or hybrid porcelain, with a white translucency; cup standing on a straight sided foot rim, waisted above, rounded sides flaring at lip, with beaded moulding below lip; c-scroll handle closed above the lip; saucer set on a flat unglazed base, rounded spreading sides; both painted on the interior with small single pink roses on a bed of gilt moss; gilt band above beading, and inside lip; gilt band to the foot rim, and gilt decoration to the handle.
