Melingriffith Co. Ltd, toll book
Melingriffith Co. Ltd. iron bridge toll book for the Morganstown to Tongwynlais bridge. Brown card cover. Inside, details are handwritten in pencil and ink on cream, lined paper. Booklet containing details of tolls collected at the bridge on 1st January 1916. Most of the booklet has been left blank. Also loose within the booklet is an extract from the lodge duty book, typed on cream paper. The extract is a Statement by John Cox, verifying that he was on toll duty at the Iron Bridge on the 1st January 1927, and that he received a sum of 6 shillings and three half pence from 82 persons passing the bridge.
