Tile, square, white earthenware body with large white grit inclusions, cream coloured glaze with brown speckles extending over front face and edges, the reverse moulded with with a pattern of cross-hatches to enable mortar to adhere to the surface; hand-decorated over the glaze in a simple, stylised manner in green and black enamels, to the top left is an image of two kilns with smoking chimmneys, the smoke framing the inscription 'POOLE', to the right is a car being driven by a man with a moustache, with two women passengers, all wearing green hats, diagonal lines suggest movement, at the bottom centre is the inscription 'VISITORS' framed by a black rectangle.
