Small plate, earthenware, circular shape with inset base, curving sides and spreading rim, the rim moulded with embossed floral sprigs enclosed by foliate swags interspersed with ribbon-tied floral garlands; transfer-printed in blue and overpainted in red, peach, yellow, and green with to the centre of the well a scene showing a group of five Chinese-style figures standing on a patch of grass in front of a verandah with awning, the moulded floral sprigs to the rim overpainted in puce, red, yellow, green and brown, a brown edge to the rim.
