Frog Lane Colliery, photograph
Frog lane Pit Haulage (1905/1910). The haulage near the pit bottom of Frog Lane Colliery near Bristol was driven by steam power supplied from the surface through a pipe coloumn in the shaft. The engineman operates the steam throttle supplying power to the haulage.
