Letter from Admiralty to G.J. Morgan re. injury

Black print on cream paper with handwritten details in black ink. Letter from the Admiralty to G.J. Morgan regarding injury compensation whilst on board the H.M.S. WARSPITE. Dated 15 October, 1891.

HMS WARSPITE was the third of Britain's nuclear-powered submarines, and the second (and final) of the Valiant class. Launched on 25 September 1965 by the wife of the then British Prime Minister Harold Wilson, and entered service 18 April 1967. She saw active service in the Falklands War and was decommissioned in 1991. Her hull and reactor are currently (2007) at Devonport awaiting a decision on long-term storage of her nuclear components.
