Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Silk and sateen patchwork quilt, made in Carmarthenshire in about 1860. Unknown maker. Central square of silk patches, outer border of large wool and cotton patches. The reverse is brown cotton sateen. Carded wool filling. The quilting consists of a diamond in the centre with leaves, surrounded by two circles within a rectangle, a border of spirals and zig-zags, and an outer border of four petalled flowers and spirals.
