Inkstand, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain with a green translucency; cockle shaped with a flat unglazed base, and sunken flat top and inkwell; periwinkle pen holder, and a flattened domed cover ( finial missing ); painted with a frieze of garden flowers around rim of inkwell, and on the cover, including tulips, convolvuli, and pink roses; cockle ribs high-lighted in gilt, gilt pen holder, and gilt band to cover rim.
