Haynes, Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1802 - 1810)
Vase, cover missing, tripod form: triangular foot with concave sides and chamfered points, and relief band along upper and lower edge; stem of vase formed of three separate dolphins, one placed on each corner each with its body curving upwards to support wheel-thrown bowl, hemi-ovoid, with central pendant boss formed of a reversed acorn finial, inverted at shoulder, flanged rim. Underside of foot unglazed, upper enamelled black, body shaded from black to dark purplish/blue, inside bowl cream-glazed. Rim chipped.
