Teacup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, green translucency, greenish tinge to the glaze; cup standing on a rounded foot, London-shapetapering and angled sides, thick curvaceous handle; saucer standing on shallow foot rim, with everted lip and recessed centre. Decorated with a set pattern (470) comprising, on the cup, a band of S-shaped scrolls in underglaze blue, outlined and beaded in gold, amid gold foliage sprays, enriched with iron-red flowers and green foliage; band of gilt fleur de lys inside the lip; S-scroll pattern repeated on the saucer where the band of fleur de lys edges the recess.
