Scarab
Scarab, of Hek Nefer, probably of glazed steatite, a dull ivory in colour the remains of the glaze visible in the incised hollows; a flat base incised with hieroglyphs and an undulating line pattern, the upper side domed and rounded in the form of a beetle carapace, a cylindrical hollow pierced through the length of the body resulting in rounded, smoothed holes at either extremity.
