Coffee cup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; cup standing on a rounded foot rim, London shape flaring slightly at lip, with a thick curvaceous ogee handle; saucer standing on a rounded foot rim, with slightly curved spreading sides; both painted with set pattern 237 - a rich underglaze blue and gilt arcaded border inside cup and saucer lip, enclosing gilt lines and dots, with pale underglaze blue and gilt pendent loops and dainty gilt foliage; gilt sprigs scattered around centre of saucer and to the cup's exterior ; gilt foot rim, gilt cup and saucer lip, and a gilt leaf motif to the handle .
