Mug, bone china with a white translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim, indented and ridged above, cylindrical form, slightly flaring towards the lip; curved back loop handle with leaf moulding; painted on the front with the inscription 'SE / RHODD / o Wlad yr Haf / 1848', in gilt, within a gilt vine wreath, flanked by two polychrome, loosely arranged flower sprays; gilt band to foot rim, gilt lip, and gilt decoration to the handle.
