Presented to Julian Filochowski by Bolivian mineworkers following his participation in a 1977 delegation to Bolivia, organised by the National Union of Mineworkers. The clandestine visit was arranged to support miners facing persecution under the repressive regime, and to document conditions relating to human rights and trade union activities in the country.
